DETROIT, MI, UNITED STATES, November 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Troy, MI | November 2, 2026 – National Manufacturing Group, a leading multi-plant OEM supplier specializing in custom molded FRP, thermoformed plastics, and metal fabrication, today announced the acquisition of A-1 Fiberglass, a Nebraska-based manufacturer specializing in fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) products.

The acquisition further expands National Manufacturing Group’s domestic manufacturing footprint, increasing production capacity and strengthening its ability to serve OEM customers across a diverse range of industries. The addition of A-1 Fiberglass provides National with greater manufacturing flexibility, additional production resources, and an expanded geographic presence in the central United States.

As part of National Manufacturing Group’s continued growth strategy, the acquisition builds upon the company’s existing expertise in fiberglass-reinforced plastics and composite manufacturing. By integrating A-1 Fiberglass into its growing network of manufacturing facilities, National can better distribute production demands, improve operational efficiencies, and provide customers with greater capacity to support both existing programs and future growth.

“This acquisition represents another important step in the continued growth of National Manufacturing Group,” said Adam Fenton, CEO of National Manufacturing Group. “A-1 Fiberglass strengthens our manufacturing platform by adding valuable production capacity and extending our geographic reach. As our customers grow, we want to ensure we have the resources, flexibility, and infrastructure to grow alongside them.”

The addition of A-1 Fiberglass reinforces National’s commitment to building a strong, geographically diverse manufacturing organization capable of supporting increasingly complex OEM production requirements. With an expanding network of facilities across the United States, National continues to position itself as a dependable manufacturing partner offering scalable production solutions, consistent quality, and responsive customer service.

“Our strategy has always been about building a stronger, more capable manufacturing organization,” Fenton added. “Sometimes that means introducing new technologies or processes, and other times it means expanding our ability to deliver on the capabilities we already have. A-1 Fiberglass allows us to do exactly that while continuing to invest in American manufacturing and the communities where we operate.”

The acquisition reflects National Manufacturing Group’s ongoing commitment to strategic growth, operational excellence, and long-term partnerships with its customers and suppliers.
